Britcon is proud to announce its outstanding success at the British Safety Council’s annual awards dinner, held on 19 May 2023 at The Landmark Hotel in London. The company received three prestigious accolades in recognition of its commitment to health, safety and wellbeing:
- Best in Sector – Construction and Property Activities
- Best in Country – United Kingdom
- Joint Winner – Chief Adjudicator’s Award
These awards follow Britcon’s earlier achievement of a Distinction in the British Safety Council’s International Safety Awards 2023, further cementing its position as a leader in safety excellence within the construction industry.
The awards dinner brought together organisations from across the globe to celebrate sixty-five years of progress in health and safety standards. Addressing the audience, Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, said:
“This event provides the opportunity to celebrate the success of all the winners of the International Safety Awards. Your presence here tonight demonstrates your commitment to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of your organisations.”
Peter McGettrick, Chair of the British Safety Council, added:

Gina Ridsdale, Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Britcon, reflected on the achievement:
