Through Britcon Zero, our long-term sustainability strategy, we are driving progress towards Net Zero ahead of the UK Government’s 2050 target. Our published Carbon Reduction Plan outlines the actions and measures supporting this journey, alongside the wider steps we are taking to continually improve performance year-on-year.
We work with trusted partners including Planet Mark, Better World Solutions and Ecologi to measure our impact, inform decision-making and contribute to wider climate action. Our recent progress includes renewed Planet Mark certification and continued carbon measurement and reduction. Through our work with Ecologi, we have supported the planting of over 1,570 trees and helped avoid 855 tCO2e.
The Britcon Foundation sits at the heart of our commitment to giving back, supporting local charities and community initiatives in the areas where we operate.
Through a programme of fundraising, volunteering and team-based activities, the Foundation brings colleagues together to create a positive and lasting impact while strengthening connections across offices and project teams. Initiatives such as Dress Down Fridays, organised challenges and community support activities help raise funds and awareness for selected charities, with a focus on wellbeing, education, hardship support and environmental improvement.
By encouraging participation across the business, the Foundation not only supports important causes but also reinforces a shared sense of purpose and community.
Alongside our environmental commitments, we place equal importance on delivering meaningful social value through our projects and wider business activities. Through the Britcon Foundation, we support local communities through volunteering, fundraising and charitable partnerships.

We also develop bespoke social value plans for most projects, working closely with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners to ensure our activities align with local priorities.
