Britcon is delighted to have been appointed as Principal Contractor for a significant expansion project at Ideal Heating’s main manufacturing facility in Hull.
The scheme will see the construction of a 116,000 square foot extension, more than doubling the size of the existing warehouse. This major investment will enable Ideal Heating to scale up production of its low-carbon heating technologies, supporting the UK’s transition to more sustainable energy solutions.
In addition to the warehouse extension, the project includes the development of a new office building, car park, and associated infrastructure works, including a new access road to improve site logistics and connectivity.
This appointment reflects Britcon’s strong track record in delivering complex industrial and manufacturing projects, and its ability to work collaboratively with clients to meet ambitious operational and environmental goals.
