Britcon is pleased to announce the award of a £12.5 million design and build contract for the Falcon Park North development in Loughborough, on behalf of Arax Properties.
Regenerating A Strategic Midlands Location
Positioned within the Midlands Golden Triangle, Falcon Park North occupies a prominent site adjacent to Loughborough railway station, offering excellent connectivity across the region. The wider Falcon Park development has a long established reputation as a key employment hub, with strong manufacturing and engineering heritage.
This latest phase of development will play an important role in the continued regeneration of the site, replacing outdated buildings with modern, high quality industrial accommodation. The scheme has been designed to support a broad range of occupiers, creating flexible space that reflects the evolving requirements of the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
Delivering Modern, Sustainable Industrial Space
Britcon’s scope of works includes the design and construction of five steel framed industrial units, alongside a dedicated site office. The development will provide modern B2 and B8 accommodation supported by service yards, parking, landscaping and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The new units will offer flexible, high specification space suitable for both manufacturing and logistics operations. A strong emphasis has also been placed on sustainability, ensuring the development aligns with growing industry demand for environmentally responsible design and construction.
Strengthening Industrial Delivery Expertise
This latest contract award further reinforces Britcon’s expertise in delivering complex industrial developments within live environments. By working closely with Arax Properties and the wider project team, Britcon will ensure the successful delivery of a high quality scheme that meets both programme and performance expectations.
The appointment reflects continued confidence in Britcon’s design and build capabilities and strengthens its position within the industrial and logistics sector. Projects such as Falcon Park North demonstrate the ongoing demand for well located, sustainable industrial space while supporting regional economic growth.
