Britcon is proud to announce its appointment to Lots 1, 2 and 4 of the newly launched YORcivil3 Framework, in partnership with our sister company, Specialist Surfacing.
Procured by YORhub, the YORcivil3 Framework represents the third generation of civil engineering frameworks for the Yorkshire and Humber regions. With a combined estimated value of £800 million, the framework is split into two regional lots, North & East and South & West and will replace the outgoing YORcivil2, which is set to expire in August.
Britcon’s successful inclusion in multiple lots across both regional frameworks highlights our proven capability in delivering a wide range of civil engineering works, including highways, bridges, drainage, flood alleviation, coastal protection and surfacing projects. The framework covers projects valued up to £10 million, with surfacing works of any value.
We are pleased to be joining a strong cohort of contractors selected for YORcivil3, including both returning and new firms. Notably, Britcon has secured places in:
- Lot 1 – Projects up to £750,000
- Lot 2 – Projects between £750,000 and £4 million
- Lot 4 – Surfacing works
Our appointment reflects Britcon’s continued growth and commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure across the region. It also reinforces our position as a trusted partner for public sector clients seeking value, reliability and innovation.

The YORcivil3 Framework will run for four years and complements the existing YORcivil Major Works Framework, which covers projects over £10 million and is currently active until December 2023, with the potential for extension.
