Britcon Delivers Career Day at Riverside College

It was a privilege to be invited to speak to year 10 students from around the Stockton area who are looking to attend Stockton Riverside college. The main focus of the day was to give information on  the different specific occupations available within the construction industry and varied career paths from academic to apprenticeship route.

The day consisted of holding five 20 minute sessions, supporting young people to work on core employment skills, discussing with the students what employers are looking for, interview preparation techniques and looking at what subjects the students enjoy and how those subjects can be used in the construction industry.
