Britcon are delighted to sponsor Great Driffield Girls Team.

The football team was originally formed last year as an Under 11s (U) team after the girls attended the Weetabix wildcats event, organised by England Football for girls wanting experience playing football.

The girls have had a fantastic first season as a U11 team finishing mid league and coming away with a tournament win.

From this success it was decided by the club to keep a group of girls at U11 and 'hop up' a year to U13s to expand the age range for local girls to play football.

The U13s are now competing in League 2 of the City of York Girls Football League and are playing well sitting second in the league.

We look forward to supporting the team over this coming season.
