Balloch Bridge

Britcon Engineering Services involvement in this contract comprised the design, fabrication, delivery and erection of a three span bridge deck across the River Leven in Dumbartonshire.

The project involved removal and replacement of the original five span bridge with a new deck incorporating cantilevered outboard pedestrian walkways.

A separate contract was undertaken for specialist handrailing systems for the bridge.
