Glensanda Quarry

Britcon are operating in conjunction with our Engineering Services division in the provision of million major infrastructure works at the quarry enabling our client Aggregate Industries to extract an estimated 800 million tonnes of granite from within established planning permissions therefore guaranteeing the life of the quarry for a further 15 to 20 years.

Works undertaken have seen Britcon provide a new mobile plant workshop, a steel frame structure used for the maintenance and repair of the quarry's plant and equipment, together with a similar structure above the primary crusher house to house an 85 tonne gantry crane and enable access and maintenance to rock crushing equipment.
