Peoples Park

People's Park in Grimsby has been brought back to its original Victorian splendor with a grant of just under £1m from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

Britcon have completed the contract to undertake this prestigious project for North East Lincolnshire Council including the construction of a New Pavilion and Cafe facility, restoration of the Smethurst monument, new street furniture, a terrace in front of the Floral Hall, reinstatement of the original planting schemes, restoration of the Bowls Pavilion and the demolition of the 1960's toilet blocks.

All works have been carefully planned around planting seasons and tree works organized into separate phases to avoid bird nesting and migration.
