Works Scope

The works consisted of the reconfiguration of the harbour port to accommodate 3nr new steel floating 'Roro' Ramps to allow the intake of new international motor vehicle deliveries. In order to accommodate the new ramps, modifications were need to the existing concrete phase to the water edge.

Temporary double-walled cofferdams were constructed in the sea to allow the dewatering of the face of the harbour wall to undertake concrete repairs and enhancement to allow the fixing of the new roro ramps.
